Watch out! I'm on a food spree blog post! =D
Well, not really..
Shall I start out with my Raya holidays first?
Me family and I went on a Raya holiday to Cameron Highlands.. Woke up wee early, packed our stuff, and started our journey there.. However, daddy was a joy kill.. Halfway there, he refused to let us stay at Cameron and said its better to play till late at night at go back.. wtf
First picture, a pretty hibiscus we saw before having lunch..
And then.. emo started.. the rain.. rain awhile.. stop.. rain awhile.. stop.. wtf.. we couldn't go anywhere! Not the beautiful tea plantation, not the bee farm, not the vegetable farms, not the strawberry farms.. you get it right?? And then to make things worst, it was freaking jam!! It was like the whole Malaysia citizens went up to Cameron!!
So dad got pissed off, and said we are going back.. T___________________T
I didn't even have chance to take more pictures!
On the way out of Tanah Rata, we passed by a durian seller at the roadside and although it was raining, daddy thought it was ok to stop down and have durian! you see!! his love for durian I tell u is level 100.. omg.. fml..
So, I took the opportunity to snap a last picture of Cameron.. T_______________T
Now, the Raya holiday is done, lets move on to the food spree!!! =D
Ever tried this? I previously blogged about this, Moo Cow, the most milky and heavenly yogurt I have ever eaten!!!! #drools
At a place called Hiyaki.. Sells awesome Nasi Kukus Ayam with an Ice Lemon Tea for only RM6.90..
This is Nasi Beriani though.. tempting isn't it? Sorry I forgot the price though.. =______=
Give it a try.. There's one around Setapak and another one at Uptown.. =D
And then I got so in the mood of photo taking, I took photo of this simple cup of Kopi O..
And yes, also the saucer.. >.<
And then I finally tried the pork at Betty's Midwest Kitchen.. They serve a variety of porky porky.. And omg.. It is so juicy and tender, its like all the pork chop I ate before this were not pork chop!! U get what I mean???
This one is Baby back ribs (RM32.50).. I tell you.. Please try this!
This is Grilled Beer Braised Boston Butt (RM27.50).. This one also!! Ok, just go ahead and order everything okay?!
And then I went to Tong Pak Fu and tried this..
Pink Guava Snow Ice (Regular, RM8.80)
And last but not least, new dessert from Snowflakes!!
Ocha'Ryo (RM7.90).. The green tea taste is.. awesome.. Go try! =D
Ok, food photo spree ends.. kthxbai

Meeples @ Subang Jaya
This is the second time I went to Meeples. For those of you who don't knowm Meeples is a board game concept cafe. There's a wide variety of board games available in this place with a very comfy area to have fun with board games.
We got carried away taking pictures and decided to start pilling them up.. haha..
We started off with a warm up game called the Geistes Blitz, sort of like a game of Snaps or Heart attack except with cute little figurines to make things more complicated and more mind stimulating.. =D
After 2 rounds of that, we were ready for a more strategy type of game. But before that, the Meeples staff surprised us with a complementary drink each! They are currently having a promotion where each person gets ONE free drink when you sit down and play their board games..
The list of drinks of choice was so interesting, we didn't know which to choose.. In the end, each of us ordered the following drinks..
This is Nutella Latte, the recommended drink they had.. Well, most of us ordered this.. Nice eh?
This is Hot chocolate some more with a bunny.. ML couldn't bare to drink away her bunny and was scooping her drink from left and right, avoiding it.. lol..
This here is Toffee latte with a butterfly decoration.. Eva also couldn't bare drinking her butterfly so her bf, before she could do anything took a spoon and stirred the butterfly away!!! fml..
While drinking, we decided on a came called Carcassonne.. This is a game where you build a map out of tiles and you are given tiny little meeples to place on them, sort of like conquering the land.. haha..
And this is the 3 story one credited to the bf..
Initially the land started out small, with each of us (different colours to represent each of us)..
The meeple standing on the street is a theif, the meeple standing on the city are knights, meeple standing on the monastery is a monk and the meeple lying on the ground is a farmer.. Interesting huh?
And this is what our map looked like at the end of the game..
Quite a fond experience I would say..

Sushi Zanmai @ One Utama
Hello peeps, how have you been? Just got back from my trip to Singapore.. Feeling so refreshed now, except for my overused leg muscles! =.=
Anyway, here's another food post again.. And as the title says, I'll be writing about Sushi today! So my first question is, which is your favorite sushi place? So far I have tried Sushi King, Sakae Sushi, Sushi Zanmai, Shogun, Tenji 2, Maiu and etc..
One of my most favorite so far is Sushi Zanmai..
The price of their main dishes are rather reasonable.. Say for example,
Both the Chicken Karaage Don (on the left) and Tendon (on the right) cost RM8.80 (small) and RM15.80 (large).

One thing about the portion though, small is really enough unless you are a extreme big eater.. =)
Then they have this belt the runs sushi around their restaurant for us to pick and choose..
If you somehow think that those on the belt are not freshly prepared, or if you think that you'd prefer some of the sushi in the menu that are not available at the belt, you can always make an order.. And that's what we did..
From the left, Salmon Peach RM 3.80, Tai RM 4.80 and Ajitsuke Shiitake RM1.80.. Didn't think the Tai had a much different taste then normal Salmon.. But then its probably because I tried the sushi instead of the thick slab of flesh, sashimi! ugh.. talking about sashimi.. I sure miss that.. XD
Close up picture of peach salmon
Sauce for the sushi! Oh btw, something which is utterly non-important, you know previously they liked placing wasabi on the belt and you have to get it from the belt, take the amount you want and then put it back onto the belt for other people to eat? Well, the last time I went to Sushi Zanmai, there was wasabi on our desk and was no longer seen on the belt! Not that its important, just so you know.. =P
We also ordered this Salmon to Avocado Roll RM12.80.. This tasted heavenly! Didn't think avocado would go so well as a topping for rolls! Be sure to try it!
Overall, a me gusta meal.. hehe..

Moo Cow versus Tutti Fruiti
Two frozen yogurt (froyo) that I have fallen in love with.. So who's the winner? Take a look:
p/s: for those lazy to read this long ass post, do scroll right to the bottom for my conclusion..
My first time trying froyo was with Tutti Frutti near Sunway Giza.. First impression was RM0.53/10g?! OUCH!! Second thought that hit me was, "wow, self-service? Great! I can control the amount so that my budget won't run!" *evil grin*
In the end, I took 1.5 twist as shown in the right bottom picture and was happily going to pay when I saw my friend filling her cup with all sorts of toppings (the yogurt on the bottom left is hers) and due to peer pressure, I added some fruits as well.. kiwi, mango and a strawberry.. And when it was time to pay, mine cost RM16.90, my friend's cost RM23.90 and the other yogurt on the top right corner cost RM10.90.. And then I realized my mistake.. Fruits are damn heavy and not worth RM0.53/10g!!! FML!! I am so stupid!
Difference between Moo Cow and Tutti Fruitti:
1) Moo Cow has a very much more milky taste as compared to Tutti Frutti..
2) Tutti Frutti has a way wider selection of froyo choices as well as topping choices
3) Moo Cow has healthier topping choices such as blackcurrant, cereal and etc..
4) Tutti Frutti is a do-it-yourself kinda thing while Moo Cow isn't..
5) Price? I'd go with Moo Cow is cheaper..
Overall, my preference is Moo Cow because I am a sucker for that milky taste as well as the price range..What about you? xoxo

Oh well, what's done is done.. Took a bite and realized OMG! My new found love!! You know how people say yogurt is healthy and ice-cream is fattening? This is like healthy ice-cream! Cold, sweet and yummy! And the fruits.. wtf? its so fresh and juicy..
And then, not long ago, I found Moo Cow froyo.. A promoter tried giving me some sample and I was like, "seriously? You Tutti Frutti imitator?" But being greedy, I took the sample and tried.. And OMG!!! It was so awesome!! The milky taste is so out of the world! The price is also quite reasonable at RM9.90 + 1 free topping for original flavour and RM10.90 for other flavours + RM1 for extra toppings..

Departure Lounge @ Uptown, Petaling Jaya
I recently went to a place called the Departure Lounge at Uptown, Petaling Jaya. A friend introduced me there. I thought it sounded kinda weird. Why Departure right? Why not arrival?? Is like people who comes to your place are going to leave soon..
Anyway, when I got there, I realised that the place was actually decorated in such a way it looked like the departure lounge in the airport.. ahhh.. so therefore the name.. I did not do a good job with taking pictures at the interior designs this time because I was busy chatting with my friends.. Sorry about that, anyhow, I do have some food pictures to show you..
From the left, the first and third picture is the "Do It My Way Breakfast". You get to pick the 3-items, 5-items and 7-items platter which cost RM8.90, RM11.90 and RM13.90 respectively. The second picture is a ham and cheese sandwich while the fourth one is a Departure Lounge special. I can't really remember the price. But the range is there around the 7-item platter. But I'd say not too cheap if you are looking for just a simple breakfast. It is worth a try though..

Of the things I've been up to.. Weight gain!!
And so I have been living like a queen for the past few weeks ever since CNY.. Some of the things I've eaten are posted below:
Chilis, one of the places I feel is a great place to chill out with friends..Or Starbucks.. ^^
Oh and I recently tried out Gong Cha.. It is sort of like Chatime.. I have heard many different comments on the two, which is better and etc.. Well, to my opinion, both are awesome.. =D
Gong Chat Special Winter Melon + Pearl
And also, as shown below, my birthday cake..
p/s: Siski, is a nickname my brother gave me..
These are not the only food I've eaten.. I also recently just had Japanese food, Korean food and Dim Sum.. And currently, I am horrified at the idea of standing on a weighing scale.. T_____________________T
Also, my pocket is currently extremely "holey".. T______________T
p/s: Am back to being busy with thesis correction, manuscript preparation and lab work, so my updates might become less frequent.. Till then! xoxo

Malacca @ Jonker Walk - Durian Products
I just realised that I actually never posted this.. So here it is..
Have you ever hear yourself say that you hate durian products, and that the only durian you'll eat is the original one? Well, I have a friend that told me he'll never eat durian but simply loved durian products.. I for one cannot understand this because the durian product I've only eaten were these:
So here are just a few photos:
First up was this white solid thing in the cup which I found out was duiran ice-cream.. At first glance it looked pale, and I was like no.. doubt it taste any better than the Durian Aiskrim potong that I've tried..
And then, when this white solid thing went into my mouth, I was like.. OMG.. Texture wise, taste wise, awesome! Smooth and yummy!!! *slurps*
Next, is the durian puffs..
The durian cendol.. Can you see that yellowish sticky liquid at the top left corner? the one right next to the gula Melaka.. That, my dear is durian sauce #dunnowhatsitcalled and honestly, I like the orginal cendol with gula Melaka more.. A bit of a disappointment I would say.. but still, the picture looks good eh? =P
Ok, that's it from me.. now go get yourself some durian products.. =D

Ultimate Cheesy 7 Pizza
I have 2 reasons to post this: 1, my readers like reading my food post.. 2, i miss photoshopping.. so.. there u go..
Anyone craving for cheese? I recently saw lots of advertisement regarding this Ultimate Cheesy 7 pizza..
It contains 7 different cheese: Mozzarella cheese, Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, Provolone cheese, Romano cheese, Parmesan cheese & Cream cheese. I know, OMG right?!
As I was saying, if you are craving for cheese, this is one meal you are sure to help satisfy your craving.. And I mean like, satisfied for quite some time..
See that round buldging thingy? Thats cream cheese.. I tried eating the ball alone and it was cheesy and also kinda too salty at the same time.. But if you spread it around the pizza and eat it.. it is much much better.. =D
After having like 3 pieces of it, I told myself I wouldn't be in any hurry to eat cheese for the time being..
Don't believe me?? Look at the picture below:
Doesn't it look awesomely cheesy?? =D
Its definitely a pizza that will cease your cheese craving for the time being.. hehe..
Until next time..

Canton I
I finally decided to go eat something I can easily get off the coffee shops on any street at a rather pricey location - Duck Rice & Roasted Pork Rice @ Canton I
And, in my opinion, the duck rice was quite a disappointment.. Perhaps the meat was more properly cleaned and garnish, but the taste.. hmmm.. not the best I've tasted..
The roasted pork on the other hand was awesome.. Thick crispy roasted pork.. You know how some times you go into a coffee shop and order roasted pork and they give you this tiny cut roasted pork with its lack of texture and extremely oily? This is different.. The roasted pork was thickly cut, and it somehow tasted compact and juicy.. Flavour was not really there though.. But the saddest thing was the whole roasted pork only had FOUR slices of meat.. T___________________T
Oh, and that drink at the right side in the picture is called a Flower Tea. Looks beautiful doesn't it? I remember one of my friend told me it looked like an alien.. ROFL I noticed that the flower tea was also available at Dragon I and then I was suddenly enlightened. I realised that Canton I and Dragon I should be owned by the same mother company because of the flower tea and also the similarity in the name.. Ok, don't laugh any more.. I know I sound like and idiot.. but so what? =P

Andes Pork Burger @ Aman Suria
Hi people!
I know.. I know.. Disappeared again right? Please forgive me? Or does anyone still read this piece of rubbish anyway?
Oh well, some long delayed posts on food again..
I have promoted this in numerous occasion to numerous people.. Andes sells amazingly tasty and juicy pork burger for a crazily affordable price..

I have promoted this in numerous occasion to numerous people.. Andes sells amazingly tasty and juicy pork burger for a crazily affordable price..
It contains a large chunk of pork patties that is just too huge for the mouth alone.. And when you cut it open, melted cheese immediately flows out from the patties.. All this for the price of RM13.90.. I'm serious, only RM13.90.. And this is just a pork burger.. If you are a beef & pork person, they have the right combination for you.. You can try their Aussie Burger, a combination of pork and beef, giving an even more yummy taste to it.. Try it!!
Also, the ambience is beautiful.. Suitable for couples to have a quite lunch or dinner together at a nice cosy environment.. =)

A picture of ML taking a picture of the pork burger.. =)

Food Food Food and more FOOD!! =D
After a long disappearance, I decided to post this piece of food entry of mine.. But after nicely editing them, I left them in my draft box, and never came around to post it.. Eventually, I post it on Facebook instead.. But since today I quite gatal tangan (itchy hands), I decided to post it up..
This tiramisu was taken at Suchan Deli, The Curve.. Price range is RM11.90..
Dang Gui Soup Herbal Soup set at Tan Sifu, One Utama..
Mocha ice-cream with red bean at Sushi Tei, The Gardens
Sakae Sushi's Soft Shell Crab Theme - Fresh Flavour Fushion, One Utama
This tiramisu was taken at Suchan Deli, The Curve.. Price range is RM11.90..
Top layer was filled with crunchy nuts..The second and lowest layer were sponge cakes and the middle layer was the real thing, tiramisu.. If you prefer a tiramisu that isn't bitter and more to a sweet type, then this is the choice for you.. I personally prefer the sponge layer to be less though.. =)
Watermelon chicken at New Paris Restaurant, SS2..
First time I tried something like this.. The chicken was cooked with sweet dark sauce with watermelon balls rounded using the ice-cream scoop.. Quite interesting..
Dang Gui Soup Herbal Soup set at Tan Sifu, One Utama..
All I can say is - authentic taste of chinese herbal soup!!
Mocha ice-cream with red bean at Sushi Tei, The Gardens
I used to dislike red beans a lot.. But the combination between red bean and green tea is simply awesome!!
Sakae Sushi's Soft Shell Crab Theme - Fresh Flavour Fushion, One Utama
Another interesting combination of fruits and soft shell crab.. not bad..
And one picture with me in it.. Seafood Platter for 2 at Fish & Co., One Utama..
In my opinion, a must try!!! hehe..
