Journey of the Distance Begins

He is going Johor already.. Going going going already!!! nooo!!! I always pushed this thought behind my mind, not daring to face it, not daring to believe it.. until.. today.. T.T reality sometimes strike people hard. Honestly, I don't know how to face the near future. He won't be here, somewhere near me. To think that, I'll be taking LRT back alone from now on, to think that, he won't be there with me during PC fairs or getting to meet each other at the odd of time to catch a movie, a dinner perhaps, or just to be together. What am I going to do? IF I ever want to see him, I cannot just schedule a time to meet up but have to wait till his semester break or even my own semester break.. T.T

The road ahead is not an easy one. And as if this distance isn't enough, I actually got to talk to someone the other day and she mentioned about her past relationship to me. About the reason to her other half's change of heart and although i trust him with all my heart, I'm still worried. I know that some things in life just aren't predictable. And yet, the only thing to keep me strong, to keep me hanging on is the faith I have in our relationship and it is this faith, that I will keep holding on to.

That night, we had dinner at Shakey's. Took a few pictures.

Him busy looking at the menu trying to find something to eat..
Him, finally paying my camera an attention...
and finally, my turn for a picture!!! XD

I tried my very best to eat slowly, wishing time would stop. Funny thing is though, towards the end, I kinda had to rush because his mother was caling him to go home. XD

To Liang, do take care of yourself, study hard and remember to come back here ya?? XD

HP Gathering

Was actually in a dilema on whether or not to attend a HP gathering this evening. Reasons were, one: I actually had quite a handful of things to do. Reason 2: I didn't actually ask for permission. (ya, i know, I'm miss goody) thats not the point, my mum would definitely say no if i wanted to go meet online friends cz of the stories circulating around scary online people.. >.<>
So, at 8.30pm I headed for the LRT and on my way to Kelana where I would be meeting Ben (my HP master.. XD) for the first time in my life.. lol.. and then we would head to Ming Tian to meet hydo (my HP grandmaster.. ^^) also for the first time in my life.. as if all these weren't exciting enough, i actually meet 2 more people i never expected, Evelyn (my greatgrandmaster) and also Adrian (my ex greatgrandmaster) XD

Chat quite a lot that night..was talking of quite some nonsense also.. What the sky no star la, the roof got 3 stars la.. Use digi poster to cover my face when i going back so that Kel doesn't spot me la.. LOL it was all so funny.. To tell u the truth, I was kind of worried that I would feel lost when we meet, but thank God they were all bubbly and friendly.. I even got a gift from Hydo.. weee!! she is so sweet.. Thank you Hydo!!! XD

Sadly, we didn't get to take any FEEL pictures Hydo promised cz the area was too dark.. sad sad.. but i did manage to get a few pictures though..

this is call a balancing game..we try to balance the stuff on dat semi sphere thingy..

this is hydo's hand.. XD
this is Ben's punya.. aiseh..really sad la.. no picts.. XD

Later, Ben fetched me back to Setapak.. Again, i have to say, Thank You Ben!!! Really sweet of u.. hehe.. But then le, he forgot my keychain.. XD

~Life Journey~

Happiness keeps You Sweet,
Trials keep You Strong,
Sorrows keep You Human,
Failures keep You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But Only God keeps You Going.

Lessons on Life

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment. The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up. If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Moral: Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

Movies Day

Went to KLCC today to watch Kung Fu Panda, a movie I have long anticipated to watch. As it turned out, the movie was great! I loved it! ^^ I don't care what other's review are towards the show, I simply think its great. Its funny and at the same time eductional and heart warming in a sense. Learned a few things from it, one of it is that Yesterday is a History, Tommorow is a Mystery and Today its a Gift and thats why it is called Present.. ^^

Anothing thing is that there is nothing special about that someone, because that person is that person. You will only be special if you believe in yourself and know that you can do it or that you are special.. and that is what matters most.. Thats why the scroll has nothing on it..

And another lesson learnt is that, if we can psychic ourselve into doing something with our heart, then success is near at hand.. ^^ thats why Poo can climb up the building to take the scroll..

Last but not least, no matter who you are, you are able to achieve great things. Sometimes, God's gifts to us comes in unexpected ways.. Now who says a panda that is so fat and can't even see his own feet can't become a dragon warrior?? =p

From Dust to Dust ....

Dusting
Remember...a layer of dust protects the Wood beneath it.
'A house becomes a home when you can write 'I love you' on the furniture .'
I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect - 'in case someone came over' Finally I realized one day that no-one came over; they were all out living life and having fun! NOW, when people visit, I don't have to explain the 'condition' of my home . They are more interested in hearing about the things I've been doing while I was away living life and having fun. If you haven't figured this out yet, please heed this advice.
Life is short. Enjoy it!

Dust if you must .......
but wouldn't it be better to paint a picture or write a letter, bake cookies or a cake and lick the spoon or plant a seed, ponder the difference between want and need?!

Dust if you must,
but there's not much time . . . . with beer to drink , rivers to swim and mountains to climb, music to hear and books to read, friends to cherish and life to lead.

Dust if you must,
but the world's out there with the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair, a flutter of snow, a shower of rain. This day will not come around, again.

Dust if you must ,
but bear in mind, old age will come and it's not kind. . .
And when you go - and go you must - you, yourself will make more dust!
It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Chau Tao Fu

At approximately 10.30pm, me and Brinda went temaning Lay Koon for dinner. As we walked out of the house, I got this brief scent of Chau Tao Fu (Smelly Tou Fu) and the words, "Eh, I think got Chao Tao Fu la" just came out of my mouth. As soon as these words left my mouth, Brinda immediately said, "why Ting Wei, why??" And Lay Koon went, "you sure ar? Can we go see see?? I want eat!! I long time didn't eat already u know?" And so we went. To my gratest surprise and to Brinda's greatest disappointment, the uncle was really there selling Chau Tao FU!!! lol!!!
You should see the look on Lay Koon's face, it was like Christmas had came early. lol.. And at the direct opposite, u should look at Brinda's face.. lol.. and then Brinda made this comment, "Ting Wei ar, sometimes your nose is really.. "

Smelly Tou fu!!! Eeeeewwwww!!!! >.<
Omg, I'm telling you, for what is worth, I really never thought my nose was that sensitive!! I really thought it was just my imagination!! lol.. This is really something I find highly amusing!! lol.. From now on, I should love my nose more.. lol.. *Muacks nose* haha.. This incident made my day..lol

The Skirt Story

On Saturday, I semangatly went morning market with my mother in hopes of getting some nice new shirts. As we were looking through the many choices of "beautiful" cloths, we came across one store that sold formal skirts. After choosing for awhile, i decided to buy the bellow skirt.

Sadly they got no M size, only either S or L. I took the S, paid and went back to try out the skirt only to find that when I wanted to pull the zip up, it broke. -.- don't misunderstand k? the stupid zip broke into half.. so terrible quality!!! ish.. anyway, the market aunty said i could change the skirt if i S was too small. So on Sunday, I went to the market and changed it into an M size. Haha..

I actually feel very bad I kinda sorta cheated the woman. >.<>.<>.<

Haha.. anyway, I just thought I'd share this incident with you guys.. haha

Malaysia For Unity!!!

Hey, heard of this song called Here In My Home? Its sung by Malaysian Artist for unity in Malaysia. Sometimes, we should just stop and think how much we have contribute to the society to make this country a better place. The number of times we argued about racism, the number of times we argued about injustice and yet, we never make any efforts like these artist to make Malaysia feel the need and sense of unity. All most of us ever did, was end up in ISA. XD

The history of how this song came about is as follow:

Pete telephoned a few friends. “how about getting together to make an anti-racism national unity song and music video?” all said yes without hesitation. not because Pete threatened them with a sharp and rusty knife. but only because they love Malaysia.

The contingent swelled to 52 people a few days later. it included filmmakers, dancers, singers, producers, musicians, actors, entrepreneurs, designers, footballers, activists, celebrities, students and a florist. nobody would be paid. yet they were enthused. not because they were high on speed. only because they love Malaysia.

They gathered to record the song. it had a catchy chorus and was able to induce a mass sing-along. everyone was happy when it was done. they named it ‘Here in My Home’. then more people joined. the party now included more than 120 people. but the budget remained exactly zero. it seems even the spreadsheet loves Malaysia.

Everyone turned up for the video shoot. much fun was had and friendships made. video editors went to work after the shoot was done. both the recording and the video would be given away for free. a gift to the nation. from those who love malaysia to those who feel the same.
did you ask what this is all about?
it’s about love.

I got those from a website.. heh.. Anyway, here's the website. go check it out!! ----> MalaysiaForUnity

Btw, for those of you that turned my songs to silent, please turn it back on. I placed the song there so you guys can listen to it. Go download or check out the video. Its good..haha.. trust me.. Malaysian singers aren't that bad. And its quite a nice video clip. ^^

The Apostles' Creed

We believe in one God the Father, the Almighty, creator of heaven and earth, and of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen

God, I believe in you.
