Argh.. at times I just hate myself

Kinda pissed of with myself at the moment. Don't know why can't I do things according to plan.. Don't know why can't I focus on my goals. Why am I so easily influenced by my emotions? Most of all, why am I so easily distracted by my friends (or if u even consider those type of people as friends..)

I just want a simple life, just want to be able to focus on my goals, work hard on them and for once to achieve them! I just want some people out of my life, or if they are in it to just leave me be!! And most of all, I hope that I can control myself and not say dumb things when its not needed or to procrastinate on things until I regret it one day.. I've been through this once! I really don't want to go through this again! All I'm asking for is, God, help me through this!!

Less Blogging

I might be blogging less for the next couple of week until about September now.. I got lots of assignments, lab work, tests and presentation to focus on.. Have been procrastinating for the past week and really regret and feel concern about it at the moment..

So from today onwards, its nerd mode on and studies comes first!! (say only.. hopefully i can keep my word.. >.<) wish me luck people!! I will blog..but less.. haha

Don't want to feel this way anymore

feeling very negative at the moment.. frustrated about not getting my work done yet i can't seem to bring myself to do it.. trying hard to control myself yet seem unable to.. whats happening to me?? why everytime when i thought that things would finally have gone right for once it all comes crashing down on me? I just want a normal day, a happy life.. Its that too much to ask?

Gosh I'm so distracted right now and I don't want to be!! please don't make me always feel this way?

Btw, just realized that there is this friend of mine that has very similiar dreams like mine and struggling for very similiar things..I really like reading his thoughts as i feel that someone out there actually feels the same way I do and is struggling like me.. But suddenly I can't go there anymore.. suddenly I can't look at his thoughts anymore.. I won't get to see that same blog again and realise how hard I need to push myself or to remind myself what my goals are and what I'm fighthing for.. now its all left to me..

Chiau Yung's Birthday!!

Another friend turned 21 today.. XD all of us are getting old already!!! NOOO!! XD actually, her birthday is on the 23rd of July la.. but we helped her celebrate it earlier because she wanted to celebrate her birthday with her family on Wednesday.

So on Monday after class, we went to a Korean Restaurant at Korean Village in Ampang for lunch. They had this meal whereby u order any main dish, then it comes with 8 side dishes and a bowl of rice. I forgot to take photos before the 8 dishes were cleared by us.. XD i did however take one picture though. haha

this is called kimchi (cabbage) sour and spicy thingy.. >.<>

here it is.. hehe.. got tou fu, cabbage, pork, onion, chili, tomato and dunno what else.. haha.. very nice o..

LOL

Plant Tissue Culture

My blog is so empty for July entries!! Want to update some stuff so I'd thought I'd let you guys know what I have been up to in uni for the past few years.. ^^ You guys always wonder what biotechnologist do right?

here is some preview on things you can do in the plant field.. XD

u prepare a medium (gel like thingy) that contains the necessary nutrient, then cut a small piece of the plant u want to culture and place it in the tube. (must make sure its very sterile.. so ma fan!!)
because if it is not sterile hor.. fungus and bacteria will start growing.. see that one there having black black spots?? ma fan..
or u might get this.. XD sux rite?? but if u take a look at the next few pictures..
this is what u get in a callus induction medium.. not so pretty eh?? but did u know u can turn this into any part of the plant u first isolated from??
see what i mean?? when placed into the right condition, shoots occur!! ^^

Take a Break

Been super busy for the last 3 weeks!! my gosh.. now I finally have time to take some fresh air and do some blogging.. keke.. first things first, I'd like to tell everyone I have reformat my com due to a stupid virus and I am now using windows vista.. Thanks to Enson who helped my install and did the necessities.. lol

After a few weeks of using Vista, I can only say that vista is really beautiful!! but apart from that.. >.<>

Well, one good new though.. I managed to learn how to fix the stupid IP conflict!! Finally.. haha.. hopefully my internet connection won't get cut off too often again.. Btw, just to make sure u guys know, some of my new post are below because I only recently update some past events and I place it according to the day the event occured. So in case, you never noticed, go check below!! =P

National Choir Performance

Went for the national choir today as to watch Caryn perform. Turns out that the singing was a story about einstein getting married to a vampire's daughter and giving birth to a wierd baby with 2 heads. The overall performance was hillarious! Sadly the lead vocalist weren't loud enough.

After a 15 minutes break, there was a performance this time played by the instruments alone. Guess what? I saw a guy name Tan Kah Ming there!! He was from my secondary school last time. Last I heard from him was that he left CHS to further his studies in music. And look where I found him? LOL!

Pei Wen's 21st Birthday

Celebrated Pei Wen's 21st birthday today.. Time passes so fast doesn't it?? I have known Pei Wen for nearly 8 years now.. Scary isn't it? I never realised that!! Meet her from girl guides back then.. Who is to know, we got into the same class during form 4 and 5..


Haha.. Enough of history lessons for the time being, lets thought about the current event.. Went to her 21st birthday celebration at the playground in front of her house today. Got to meet quite a few of my secondary school classmates.. ^^
