Happy Birthday 22th Birthday Liang!

Somebody has finally turned 22!!! lol.. now I'm not older than u lo.. =D Brought him go The Apartment for lunch..
The place looks like an apartment.. You get to choose which part of the apartment you want to eat in and they serve you there.. There is all the basic rooms at The Apartment.. There's the living room, study room, bed room, kitchen and also.. yup.. you guessed it.. the bathroom.. lol.. literally looked like the bathroom.. cool eh??

We choose the bedroom.. hehe.. cause I wanted to eat on the bed.. wakaka.. soft soft and nice nice.. XD
This is my meal.. Curry lamb something something.. I don't remember the name exactly.. =S

This is Liang's meal.. Again.. I forgot the name.. but its dory fish with baked cheese.. Had really got wedges and toppled with tomatos and some wierdo vege at the side.. Looks like kangkung to me.. but I honestly don't know what vege is that.. haha
My gift for Liang.. Guess whats inside?? haha..

Chocolate

Finally took my GRE test yesterday.. And guess what I scored? I scored 1120.. 80 points short of from 1200.. If only my scored wast 1210 or perhaps 1201.. =( I guess it goes to say that sometimes even hard work doesn't pay off.. oh well, as I believe, GRE is a test of luck anyway..

Hearing that I didn't do well for my GRE, Liang decided to treat me Chocolate.. Yes.. as the name implies.. It is a place where they sell all sorts of chocolate beverages.. hehe.. Liang told me chocolate would help make me feel better.. hehe..

So Chocolate was where we headed for.. =P

After some thought, I choose Rock n Roll.. A sort of milk chocolate drink.. I'm telling you, the taste is heavenly!! Never tasted anything more rich than this cup of milk chocolate drink.. It spells the word FAT in big bold letters!!! lol..

His was less sweet probably because it was rich with dark chocolate.. omg.. irresistible.. I LOVE CHOCOLATE!! LOL

Anyway, for those who are interested with the chocolate drinks.. Its available at One Utama, 2nd floor.. The price is somewhere around the price of when you buy Starbucks or Coffee Bean.. hehe..

I can't blog till this coming thursday.. Cause I really gotta work hard for my GRE.. I'm still scoring 1080 which is 120 marks short.. Gosh!! Please pray for me and wish me luck ya?? thanks!!! ^^

Recently I received this from my friend through my facebook chat..

"hw (my friend's bf) got a weeeeiiiirrrrdd phone call yesterday, telling that ME, is meeting with somebody, and want to confirm with him, by meeting with him, and showing my photo and see, whether is it the same girl. Which means, saying that i'm having 2 bf at the same time.Wow~ luckily i'm with him when that phone call came in. I think it's a cheating syndicate, just want to meet up and con him. But the WEIRD thing is, he knows my name. He sounds like ah pek la~ he introduce himself as john. So ppl, PLS DO BECAREFUL if u do receive any weird calls these days. Don't chat so much to them, just hang up the freaking phone. LOL!"

Well, do take note about that.. haha.. I hope no one actually got cheated cause of this incident!!

Blues?

This is me, juggling between my studies and my job.. haha.. I know I know.. I'm complaining too much.. But I can't really deal with it without complaining.. Guess during the interview when they asked what I'd do when I was over stressed I should have answered "Complaining!!!" =P

This is what I look like.. The snail in my garden.. Only difference being it is moving slowly and I'm improving as slow as it is moving.. well, ok.. probably even more slowly.. geesh..

And this is me, when I'm all carefree and stress-free.. Yea.. Jumping again.. I know I've got lots of jumping pictures.. =P

My friend commented that I somehow manage to find the time to act cute while jumping in the end.. And the whole gang decided to tease me over and over again later.. yikes!!

The Day of 9's~~

Today is 09.09.09.. So.. In honour of today, I shall not complain about my GRE preparation and wish you people instead, Happy 09.09.09!!!

In conjunction to this day, it is also Wai Xin's birthday!! happy birthday Wai Xin!! Big boy already lo.. haha

And another special day about today is that, I found out that my superior's anniversary is today!! haha.. happy anniversary to her too!!

Stressed to the Core!

I am seriously stressed to the max at the moment, atempting my level's best to improve my bloody GRE score.. How do I do that? I'll share with you people in a matter of moments.. But firstly, what is GRE?

The Graduate Record Examinations® (GRE®) General Test measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and critical thinking and analytical writing skills. The GRE® Subject Tests gauge undergraduate achievement in 8 specific fields of study. Adapted from GRE® – Graduate Record Examinations®.

I am taking the general test, which requires me to do 4 sections as I mentioned above. I tried out a sample test and scored 1020 (370 for verbal and 650 for math), 180 away from the entrance mark (1200 minimum) and so I thought, I'll just have to work on my vocab and make sure I am more careful with math during the test.

So I started memorizing bizzare words, words I barely speak or hear.. And about 1 month later, I tried another sample test and guess what? I scored 860!! Lower than my previous score of 1020!! take a wild guess on how much I scored for verbal and math??

tek tek!!! you are wrong!! I scored 410 for verbal and a bloody 450 for math.. Wth is wrong with my math?? Don't ask me, I just seem to flush the marks down the toilet bowl, and 1 month of verbal toture improved me 40 marks, approximately 10 marks per week?

I have now 3 more weeks to go before my test and I am scoring worst than before! I redid a few math test and the hightest I could score was 600.. OMG!!! My target of 1200 seems more and more distant away as I try harder and harder.. OMG!!!!

I feel like I'm in hell right now.. I can't face the test.. I can't face the clock as I see seconds tick away.. And yet, I can't bear to look at all those unfamiliar words and those friendly looking numbers which somehow managed to steal away my precious marks any longer.. Oh God, oh God!! GRE is harder than I thought.. My English is wrost than I thought.. and worst of all, even my math is terrible.. Studying abroad? I'm begining to think I'm not good enough for it..

FInally, an outing!!

Have been slaving myself for the past few weeks ever since the centralized training and I finally got the chance to go out last weekend.. *hurray!*

On the way to Mid Valley.. Liang was driving.. =P

Got a chance to meet up with my secondary school classmates.. We first went to Pasta Zanmai for lunch and then continued on to Nyonya Colours for dessert..

Food ad Pasta Zanmai was awesome!! You guys should really go try it out for yourselves.. ^^
