Made a scene in front of 2 friends and 2 freaking strangers today!! am so pissed!! I cannot believe how can someone actually get humiliated over a phone call!! WTF?? #@$!%

Freaking mad as I entered the car and drove home.. I kept telling myself to stay calm.. not to speed into the darkness.. And then I realised.. As I drove, along the road with most the street lights out and the radio turned off so that the whole car was quite, I sensed a peacefulness that I needed for a long time now.. Somehow, I wished the drive home took longer that it did..I remember again, how it felt like to be all relaxed and free of worries.. I miss those carefree, happier days..

My new contact lenses

Today's post.. Is about my contact lenses.. hehe..

I bought a pair of grey contact lenses at around January this year..

My Favourite Surfing Spot

Undeniably, one of the most common activity in this modern aged technology era is to surf the internet. Whether you want to search some informations regarding your assignments, your reports, for work or even for some extra knowledge. The web is one of the main place where you get these sources. But this is not the purpose of my blog post for today.

Today, I'd like to share some surfing areas that I particularly prefer.

Ranking at number 4 would be at the office, when on the rare occasions where I actually have sometime during lunch break
Ranking at number 3 would be in the car, when there is a jam and I can do nothing but sit in the car and wait.

Ranking at number 2 would be in Starbucks or any dessert shops where I can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a yummy slice of cake..

And ranking at number 1 would be in the comfort of my room, lying on my bed with my laptop where I get to roll and turn whenever I want, fall asleep surfing the net or grab something to munch on while surfing the net! =D

More importantly though, if I do not have a portable modem for internet connection however, I would never be able to enjoy these luxuries. Therefore, those who still owes me a birthday pressie.. care to buy me one? haha.. The elegant black P1 W1max below would be just nice for me.. =)

Dark secrets

Ever did something you thought you'll never do?

This was the discussion I had with a few close friends of mine a few days ago.. I initially thought I had no dark secrets or done anything that I've not thought I'd possibly do. But as I heard them speak, I realised, I too had a dark secret.

A path I choose

I finally did it.. I finally brought up enough of courage to face my fears.

At 3.30 pm, my heart began racing as I sat 4 rows behind her listening to the presenter in front stating his case. All my mind could think about was "How am I going to get through this? How am I going to say it? What will her reaction be? Will she accept it? Or will she not? Is this the right decision?

At 4.10 pm, the presenter concluded his speech and ask the floor if we had any questions. My heart skipped a beat. The whole hall was quite. I could hear my boss saying, " I've already asked all I wanted to know during the presentation, do you guys have anything to ask?"

Silence..

I could hear an inner voice in my head screaming, "somebody, please ask a question, somebody, please! Or maybe, I could ask a question. Yes, I could do that. What should I ask? What should I ask? Think!!"

Prof raised his voice to ask the first question. The hall begin talking again. Hush discussion around the hall. My heart went back to its own place.

At 4.20 pm, the presenter said, "that's all. Thank you for listening". That strike the time for me to get myself to do what I've been trying to do all day. As I stood up, she stood. Even more quickly than I could possibly do so, what with all the fear and uncertainty I had in me.

She walked passed me, right out the door. My legs begin automatically chasing after her. Before I was thoroughly out the door, I saw her entering another one. I tried to drag my body to move faster.

As I close in, I saw another colleague joined her. I thought, "I blew my chance. Have to deal with this with an audience now". I went back to my seat, stared at my bulky laptop, deep in thoughts. How should I get her to be alone and tell her?

At 4.48pm, I took my bulky laptop, dragged myself up and head towards her. We discussed for a while about some analysed results and then I pop the statement. To my utter amazement, she didn't slap me or take a knife and chase after me. Instead, she listened to my explanation, with a smile and an understanding look.

I finally handed it in. Done what I thought I would not have the guts to do. I handed in my resignation letter. And to my amazement, it was rather anti-climatic.

I don't know if my decision is right or is it wrong. I just know that right now, I'm at the fork between two roads to my future. My decision have made me progress to one of the futures. I do not know what would the other future be, but I guess, that will remain as the road not taken, exactly how the poem wrote it.

I Just Love Good Smelling People

Guess you've heard it.. That's right! This is a topic by Project Alpha.. They are coming up with topics every week.. Just follow the rules stated in the webpage at the link above and you'll stand a chance to earn some money just like that!

Well, I saw that this topic was rather interesting and decided I'd give it a try.. So, we all love good smelling people.. Come on.. be honest.. When there's someone with a body odour, I bet you can't resist the temptation of being as far away as you can from them, or if you absolutely have to be around them, you'd try breathing as little as possible!!

But did you know, actually that when a person falls for someone, its most definitely not only by their looks? Why then do you see people falling in love for some fat, short and hairy guy (not trying to be insulting here, just an example.. =D) instead of their ideal tall, dark and handsome guy? The answer is, their "smell"!

People are known to produce something known as pheromones.. And these pheromones can't be detected by your nose senses (eg: smell of strawberry and that sort). But it is detected by the vomeronasal between the nose and the mouth. These pheromones somehow triggers the attraction of the opposite sex. You hear people say that they love how their partner smells and some of the like and you might never understand what's the "smell" all about! Well, now you do.. They are attracted by the pheromones released by their partner! Pretty cool huh?

Well, for those of you that think you lack these pheromones, never fear! You can still use nice smelling perfumes or deodorants to compensate for it!

Perfume like these could do wonders!! They help keep you smelling good all day. People naturally love good smelling people and so do I.. By smelling good, you naturally feel more confident.. and by feeling more confident, well, lets just say it attracts people!!

Silver lightning

The past event brought me to realise how much time I've wasted and what I should do about it.. I really hope that the past will not affect my future.. I will try my best to change my future.. I just hope.. Its not too late..

I just..

I just need someone to listen..

Someone that doesn't judge me everytime I speak..

Someone who can just share my pain and be a shoulder I can lean on..

Is that too much to ask for?

I tried once, I tried twice..

Talking to this person I always shared my problems with..

And yet, each time, I got the scolding I suppose, I deserve..

Decided to change.. To share with someone else..

And yet, I get the same reaction as the one before..

I guess, I really deserve this treatment?

I thought I'll make a wrong decision,

If I decide to quite.. So I held on..

The Saga of Darren Shan

Yes.. I read the book.. And if you are curious, the book is actually quite good..

I saw my colleague reading this particular book (as displayed in the picture above) not long after the movie was out and decided to borrow it from her right after she read it.. To my amazement, after I read this book, I eagerly searched for the rest of the series to read!

For your information. this particular book is a 3 in 1 kind of book.. From "A Living Nightmare" to "The Vampires Assistant" to "Tunnels of Blood". The whole series of "The Saga of Darren Shan" is written over a total of 12 books! (not to worry though, the books are not long winded and its rather interesting to read!)

The 12 books includes:

• In Book One, Cirque Du Freak, Mr. Crepsley makes Darren a half-vampire in return for saving the life of one of Darren's best friends.
  
• In Book Two, The Vampire's Assistant, Crepsley notes that Darren is quite lonely and brings him back to the freak show, where he befriends a snake-like boy.
  
• In Book Three, Tunnels of Blood, Crepsley goes back to his hometown, where one of the vampires' enemies, a Vampaneze, is murdering innocent people.
• In Book Four, Vampire Mountain, Mr. Crepsley and Darren make their ascent up Vampire Mountain and learn about the rites of the vampires.
• In Book Five, Trials of Death, Darren faces the Trials of Initiation, nicknamed Trials of Death, to gain the recognition of other vampires as one of the youngest vampire to be recruited in decades.
• In Book Six, The Vampire Prince, Darren finds out about the traitor and tries to stop plans to destroy the vampire clan.
• In Book Seven, Hunters of the Dusk, the hunt for the Lord of the Vampaneze, who is destined to destroy the vampire clan, begins.
• In Book Eight, Allies of the Night, Darren meets some of his past friends who now fit into his quest.
• In Book Nine, Killers of the Dawn, Darren faces the Lord of the Vampaneze for the second time.
• In Book Ten, The Lake of Souls, Darren travels to an unfamiliar land to find out who his best friend, Harkat Mulds, used to be; as a "Little Person," Harkat's mind sans memories was placed into a new body after his death.
• In Book Eleven, Lord of the Shadows, Darren finds out more about the Lord of the Shadows and gets closer to his last confrontation with the Lord of the Vampaneze.
• Book Twelve, Sons of Destiny, Darren faces the Lord of the Vampaneze for a final fight, and learns the truth about his parentage

p/s: The book is way better than the movie.. The movie seriously sucks.. =.=

Process of Life

I grew up today, just a little. I learnt how to be a more responsible person. I learnt how to make decisions and be ready to receive the consequences if the decisions I made were wrong. I used to be, and am still afraid of making th wrong moves, of regretting and also of not living up to the expectations of others. But I now learn that, with all these worries tying me to where I am now, I'll never improve. Yes, its a save move, one that ensures I don't make the wrong moves and get scolded or have to pay for my mistakes but its also a move that will bring me no where. 10 years from now, if I am still the person I am, if I'm so afraid just to get shouted at, I will never progress, I will still be where I've started.

Right now, I'm ready. If I get scolded, if my pride suffers a little or if I stumble along the journey, I will know that its all to make sure I get wiser and become a even better person than I was before. =)

Book sales!

For all you book worms! I recently found a book store that sales books at an unbelievably low price! And to top things up, they are now selling a whole load of books for the price of RM3, RM5 and RM9.90!!

I recently went to visit the book store and have totally fallen in love with it.. Will be going back to visit it as soon as possible to stack up on some books!! ^^

p/s: the books that are on sale are not the famous book types (eg: Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings and the sort). But if you are not peculiar about the author of the book, or if you don't mind trying new books, then I really recommend you to this book store..

Lost

There's so many things I'd like to share, so many thoughts cooked up in me that I'd like to talk about but I just can't.. I try to tell friends, but I don't think I should always bother them.. I try to post it up in my blog, but then I get worried that the party involved would come to my blog one fine day and read it..

As time goes by, I learn more and more to keep things in my heart.. To not voice out my problems or stress.. I lie to people who care, so that they think I'm doing fine.. so that they think I'm leading a life I want.. There used to be a voice inside my head, screaming ever so loudly, wilding me to stop doing what I know in my heart isn't what I want..I kept rationalizing with that voice, telling it that this was just for the time being, that it was for my own benefit.. And now, I really can't tell anymore.. The voice in my head is dying away.. Its leaving me behind.. To dwell in my own imaginary dream..
