Paddington Pancake

Ok, here's another eating post..

Heard from a friend a long time back that Paddington Pancake has much more variety than it had a long time ago - 100++ different types of pancakes.. Darling and I decided to have lunch there last week and we tried 2 different pancakes..

The different pancakes actually meant that they came with a different combination of "side dishes".. Like the two you can see above.. It's kind of like eating all different kinds of western food with pancake as your source of carbohydrate.. and thats how they make up 100++ types of pancakes..

Anyhow, there really are a few different types of pancakes.. I tried the upside down pineapple pancake and dear tried the savory pancake.. There are a few more left that we decided that we'd try some other time..

Will Power

I've seen so many people achieve things that I can only dream of achieving.. Each time one succeeds, I feel a sharp annoyance of this feeling called "envy" cursing through my veins.. And now I ask myself why am I so far behind? Why am I no where near the goals I set myself?

Truth is, I'm lazy.. I either lack self-confidence or I'm over confidence.. I don't try hard enough.. I don't know how to make my goals clear to others.. And the biggest reason of my failure is, I like to give up halfway.. zzz

So I guess, I've finally come up with my "belated" New Years Resolution..
 1) I will not be lazy
 2) I will keep myself level headed as much as possible
 3) I' will not give up halfway
 4) and the hardest one of all, I'll try to express my goals to others clearly..

Kampung side of Sarawak

An uncle of mine went to pluck sweet corns for us while we visited..

Kind of reminds me of Pocahontas.. Hack, I think lots of things remind me of Pocahontas.. Even the movie Avatar..

Don't count on anyone

Just a statement, one very important statement that I fail over and over again to remember..

"Never count on anyone for help, because when you need it the most, it won't be there.."

I keep forgetting that.. Because I keep getting too comfortable.. What an ass I am..

Fishing Trip

Basic things to bring when one goes fishing is:

of course the fishing rod.. 

and, lets not forget the bait.. yeah, their earth worms.. and no, I didn't touch them.. and yes again, I know, I'm chicken.. =P

sis isn't though.. look at that grin plastered on her lite up face while she dangles the earth worm with her two fingers, and the earth worm clinging for its dear life by its tail!! (talk about exaggerating.. LOL) 

as if that's not enough, she decides to take a post of her trying to swallow the worm.. oh mi got!!

Just wanted to share the view of Sibu's lake side..

Saw this kid running straight towards this pool of water, took of her cloth and ran right into it.. 

Doubt you'd see such a thing in KL city.. hehe 

That 2 ducks on the left looked like they were posing for me to take a picture..
