After many weeks of grueling rush for my studies and thesis, I finally had a chance to go out with my friends..

We headed to KLCC on Sunday, in hopes of visiting the "POSTGRAD fair" only to find that we actually got the wrong information and ended up going for a EDUCATION fair.. Don't see the problem?? Well, I'm graduating soon and its quite irrelevant for me to go and look for another undergraduate course unless of course I want a double degree..

Anyway, seeing that we couldn't really gain much info there, we decided to watch a movie --> The Tale of Despereaux.



I love Despereaux.. He is so so SOOO cute!! =P

Weight Lost Progression

People!! Gather around people!!! I have an announcement to make!!

For more than a month now, I have been trying to lose some weight.. And today, I am proud to let you guys know that...........

I have finally lost approximately 1-2kg!!! weee!!!

Well, ok.. back to reality.. That isn't much.. but hey.. at least I tried!! =P

Continuation of Friday 13th

Some of the superstition story said that,

Twelve gods were invited to a banquet at Valhalla. Loki, the Evil One, god of mischief, had been left off the guest list but crashed the party, bringing the total number of attendees to 13. True to character, Loki raised hell by inciting Hod, the blind god of winter, to attack Balder the Good, who was a favorite of the gods. Hod took a spear of mistletoe offered by Loki and obediently hurled it at Balder, killing him instantly.

All Valhalla grieved. And although one might take the moral of this story to be "Beware of uninvited guests bearing mistletoe," the Norse themselves apparently concluded that 13 people at a dinner party is just plain bad luck.

As if to prove the point, the Bible tells us there were exactly 13 present at the Last Supper. One of the dinner guests — disciples — betrayed Jesus Christ, setting the stage for the Crucifixion.
And did I mention the Crucifixion took place on a Friday? ;)

Friday the 13th

I wonder if you guys realised.. Yesterday was 13th Friday, a mark of an unlucky day..

It has been a widely known superstition for a long time now.. Some people have this mistaken idead that this supersition was passed down through christianity.. It is of course not..

There have been incredible findings found that on Friday the 13th, fewer people chose to drive their cars and that the number of hospital admissions due to vehicular accidents was significantly higher than on "Normal" Fridays. How much higher is significantly higher? It is said that a total of 52 % more accidents happen on 13th Friday.

LEGEND HAS IT: If 13 people sit down to dinner together, one will die within the year. The Turks so disliked the number 13 that it was practically expunged from their vocabulary (Brewer, 1894). Many cities do not have a 13th Street or a 13th Avenue. Many buildings don't have a 13th floor. If you have 13 letters in your name, you will have the devil's luck (Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Theodore Bundy and Albert De Salvo all have 13 letters in their names). There are 13 witches in a coven.
